Organic Products

Do you use organic products? My family does. We feel that eating food that is grown without the use of chemical insecticides, growth enhancers, and fertilizers is important to our environment. These chemicals do not just evaporate contaminating our air, they mix with the rain and run off into the farm ditches which connect to local streams and end up in our rivers. This affects not only the insects but the birds, fish and ultimately all life. With so many natural ways to control pests we, as consumers should support those that use these environmetnally friendly methods. For the same reasons we should support companies that have these practices. Organic shampoo is safer for the environment when the excess is down the drain and ends up in the septic tank. So many cleaning products can be replaced now with safer environmentally friendly organic products. A little research in the grocery store, or online can make such a big difference. You can make a difference. Since switching to organic shampoo my hair is softer and smoother and maybe it's a coincidence but my grass is greener too. And dont think if you dont have a septic tank that you dont need to switch since these products are not only safer for septic tanks but they are made from natural products that dont harm our environment overall.
